The Civil Law Department consists of a team of professionals who have accrued a great experience in contentious as well as in non-contentious activities.
The attorneys-at-law Marta Calderoni e Gabriele Alfonzetti together with of Counsel Silvia Garavaglia (an attorney admitted for defense before the Supreme Court) operate in a wide range of civil law areas, assisting companies as well as private individuals.
In particular, thanks to the integration of legal skills of the three lawyers, accrued in various and complementary professional contexts, the team offers supports to PMI in ordinary and in extraordinary legal management regarding internal issues as well as the relations with the third parties supplying a variety services starting from basic contractual counselling to go on with handling of the most sophisticated litigations and credit recoveries.
The department supplies its assistance in field of real estate, offering its support to private individuals as well as to professionals counselling starting from the real estate projects developing, extending its activity to negotiations process, stipulation of acquisition contracts, administration and financing issues regarding any type of industrial or commercial real estate.
And finally, the department has all the necessary expertise to handle the civil and medical responsibility cases, car accidents, marriage crisis management, mediations in field of spouses’ separations and divorces, child custodies, de facto cohabitations as well as inheritance issues.

Criminal Law and Administrative liability of Entities pursuant ex d.lgs. 231/2001
The criminal law department is made up of a team of professionals with many years of litigation and consulting experience.
Barbara Belloni is a barrister qualified to practise before the higher courts, she works in all areas of criminal law, serving both companies and individuals.
Thanks to the professionalism and experience gained in previous work experiences, the team offers support to companies in matters of administrative liability of entities pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001, dealing with the development and updating of the organisational model, providing training services and participating in supervisory bodies.
Support for companies also extends to the issue of workplace safety, including with regard to systems of delegation of functions, as well as assistance with all issues relating to corporate criminal law, including in court proceedings.
In addition to its work on behalf of companies, this department offers both advisory and litigation support to individuals involved in issues relating to corporate criminal law (known as “white-collar crime”) in the traditional sense, such as crimes against property, public administration and individuals, as well as in more specific areas such as tax offences, environmental crimes and medical liability.
In particular, clients are assisted from the preliminary investigations, including preventive investigations, through all stages of the proceedings and up to the enforcement stage, if applicable.
Finally, the department has developed specific expertise in immigration law, offering advisory support for entry and residence in Italy, assistance in dealing with administrative procedures with police headquarters and prefectures, as well as procedural assistance before the Regional Administrative Courts.

Labour Law
Labour law is the area of expertise of Alessandra Rovescalli, a lawyer with extensive experience in labour law, working alongside companies and executives.
On the one hand, companies (small and medium-sized enterprises and listed companies, including foreign multinationals) are supported in the management of labour law issues with the aim of preventing labour disputes. In particular, activities include: (i) drafting employment contracts (e.g. for employees or self-employed workers); (ii) assistance in disciplinary proceedings (e.g. drafting letters of complaint and/or disciplinary measures); (iii) advising and assisting the HR department in personnel management (e.g. in the areas of working hours, holidays and parental leave); (iv) drafting policies (e.g. against harassment in the workplace).
Companies are also assisted with: (a) negotiations with trade unions; (b) individual (for justified objective reasons or just cause) and collective dismissal procedures; (c) drafting supplementary company agreements (in the areas of welfare and work-life balance, parenting support and tax relief on productivity bonuses), as well as individual Agile Working agreements.
Particular attention is paid to managers who receive professional support in managing severance payments or reviewing employment contracts and/or non-competition agreements.
Employees receive extensive assistance, for example, in drafting letters of justification (in response to disciplinary letters) or letters appealing dismissals, and in managing negotiations and conciliations in a protected setting.
Legal proceedings concern cases before the Labour Court, including, but not limited to, demotion, dismissal, pay differences, discrimination and accidents at work. Social security matters are also dealt with.
